What to Do in Paris in February When It’s Cold and Rains
Or: Is It Worth Going to Paris in February?
So, I spent two days in Paris in February, and let me tell you—it was cold. Also, rain was always lurking around the corner.

This October, I’m setting off on an adventure to Seville, reconnecting with an old friend from my New York days. She’s just bought a house there, and I’ll be helping her settle in as we explore the city and its stunning surroundings together.
Our plans include visiting the white villages and Ronda, the Rock of Gibraltar, the Alhambra Palace, the Alcázar Palace, and maybe even hiking the Caminito del Rey.
I’m already excited and can’t wait to share the stories with you. Stay tuned.
Those are a few options I’m considering:
Buxton served as an ideal base for me to explore other enchanting towns in the county, such as Bakewell, Castleton, Tideswell, and several others nestled in the Peak District.
In the beginning of July, I sent my son off to England to refine his football skills at a development summer camp.
As a parent, I wanted to stay within hailing distance, but also yearned for a slice of idyllic English countryside. So, I decided to find my own little haven in Buxton in the Peak District.
Buxton, nestled in Derbyshire County, is a charming town steeped in Roman history and serves up quite a scenic feast with its historic buildings and stunning landscapes.
For accommodations in Munnar, I took my driver’s suggestion and stayed outside of the village in the Wild Elephant Resort. It was a charming villa in the jungle, with views of tree tops, misty mountains, birds chirping, a swimming pool, and a tree house.
In October, after work was done, I extended a business trip to India to spend a few days travelling in Munnar, Kerala. I did not have much time, so I hired a local driver, which turned out to be a wise decision because I managed to see so much in practically three days, and I did so in the comfort of an air-conditioned car while it was 33°C outside.
I definitely want to return to India to experience more of this beautiful, unique country rich in history and wildlife.
Choosing a vacation destination with a teenager is no easy task by itself, but when you add “soccer-playing” to that teen, it becomes almost impossible. In spite of all the difficulties, we managed to enjoy an unforgettable family beach vacation in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
October 2021
I love destinations that are off the beaten path, so when I heard that my friend Pamela had moved to Puerto Morelos, a small village on the Mexican Caribbean coast, I knew I had to visit.

I love Greece and the Greek Islands! You can never go wrong with the endless stunning beaches, clear blue lagoons with colorful fish, friendly, relaxed locals, and traditional Greek cuisine.
In November 2020, after eight months of the prolonged solitary lifestyle that coronavirus imposed on me and the rest of the world, I needed a break. Greece was the only “green” country we were allowed to fly to, so together with my friend Hadas, we conceived a ten-day road trip to mainland Greece, “Thelma and Louise” style, only without the bad ending. Beach season was over, so we aimed for the mainland. Beyond this, we did not have a set itinerary or any reservations. We decided to play it by ear.
